Your union will be holding a Town Hall this coming Monday, July 21st, from 3-4pm via Zoom. We’ll be meeting to discuss the most recent layoffs and the anticipated layoffs that may be coming.

This is a challenging time, and we want to provide an open forum for discussion and to address any concerns you may have. We strongly encourage you to attend if you are available. Your input and participation are incredibly valuable as we navigate these issues together. Please do not hesitate to reach out to info@uauoregon.org if you have any questions or concerns before or after the Town Hall.

 

For those those who may be looking for childcare for the coming academic year:
Human Resources wants to make sure faculty and staff know their children have priority for Willamalane Parks and Recreation District’s 2025-26 Tiny Ducks preschool program, through July 25. After July 25, spots will be made available to the general public. 

To be eligible, children must:

  • Be at least three years old by September 1.
  • Be bathroom independent by September 1.
  • Have a parent or guardian who is a UO faculty or staff member.

If your family is interested, the first step to register is to add your name to the interest list.
