Do you have outstanding student loan debt? Have you cosigned a student loan for a family member? We want to help you reduce that debt. United Academics will hold an interactive Student Debt Clinic in March. Faculty who have outstanding federal loans (or have cosigned for these loans for family members) and have not yet enrolled in income-based repayment plans and/or Public Service Loan Forgiveness will receive in-depth training on how to do this.
This training was developed by the American Federation of Teachers in recognition of the fact that so many public employees have a significant debt burden and may not realize they are eligible for loan forgiveness after ten years of public service.
